Nuasin Next Generation Charter School is a free, K–12 public charter school committed to developing intellectually-curious scholars who are prepared to succeed in college, career, and life. Located in the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx, deep ties to our community are at the heart of our program.

Lower School: K-8

Nuasin Next Generation’s Lower School program aims to enrich, empower, and build the foundation for all future learning. Our young scholars have an extended school day where they are engaged in rich, rigorous instruction in all subject areas. We focus on the core areas of literacy and mathematics, but also prioritize history, the sciences, and enrichment electives.

High School: 9-12

In our High School, we don't just stop at the 44 required credit hours and mandated regents courses. We prepare scholars for a college environment with rigorous courses that build upon what is required including AP and other advanced courses in various subject levels. Each content is critically important in college preparation and we work to ensure our scholars have a well-rounded experience. Through opportunities with our partners, scholars are able to also take college courses concurrently with their high-level classes at school.
